The Role
We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Gardener to join our team at Leez Priory, a stunning Tudor manor set within beautiful Essex countryside. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in outdoor spaces and wants to play a key role in ensuring our grounds look exceptional for every wedding and event.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining the gardens and grounds to an exceptional standard year-round
- Lawn care, planting, pruning, and creating seasonal displays
- Ensuring all outdoor areas are immaculate and presentation-ready for weddings
- General upkeep of pathways, water features, and outdoor areas
- Supporting grounds improvement projects
- Working closely with the wider venue team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
What We’re Looking For
- Previous gardening or groundskeeping experience (preferred)
- A keen eye for detail and high standards
- A proactive, reliable and hands-on approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather
