Are you an ambitious and experienced Venue Manager dreaming of leading one of the South West’s most prestigious exclusive-use wedding venues? Set within a breathtaking 100-acre estate, Country House Weddings is seeking a passionate and commercially minded Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of St Audries Park, delivering exceptional weddings and outstanding guest experiences.

As an experienced Venue Manager, you will bring a strong commercial hotel, hospitality or ideally a wedding venue background, combined with inspirational leadership and meticulous attention to detail. You are hands-on, lead from the front and take pride in ensuring you and the team deliver flawless events.

You will be:

  • A confident people manager who motivates, develops and leads high-performing teams
  • Commercially aware with a proven ability to deliver against budgets and KPIs
  • Passionate about weddings, hospitality and creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences

  • An exceptional communicator and natural ambassador for the venue

In return, we offer a salary of £40,000 plus bonus scheme and tips and the chance to manage a truly remarkable estate.

Role Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the financial performance of the venue, delivering against monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
  • Lead all operational aspects of the venue, ensuring consistently high standards across weddings, accommodation and estate presentation
  • Deliver outstanding guest relations, including investigating, responding to and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
  • Oversee the smooth running of every wedding and event, acting as a visible and confident host on the day
  • Act as Personal Wedding Manager for up to 12 weddings per annum (subject to venue requirements)
  • Take full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance, including risk assessments, fire safety, security and manual handling
  • Hold a Personal Licence (BIIAB Level 2) or be willing to complete the required training
