The Hope & Anchor is a beautifully refurbished riverside restaurant with rooms, offering warm hospitality, fresh seasonal food, and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Ross-on-Wye. We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeping Team Member to join our growing team and help us deliver exceptional stays for our guests.

The Role

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play an essential part in creating a welcoming, spotless, and comfortable environment across our guest rooms and public areas. You’ll take pride in high standards and enjoy being part of a supportive, hands‑on team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
  • Maintaining cleanliness across communal areas
  • Replenishing linens, towels, toiletries, and supplies
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly
  • Working efficiently to daily room lists
  • Ensuring excellent presentation across the property

  • A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to help where needed
  • Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential—full training provided

Hours & Pay
