The Hope & Anchor is a beautifully refurbished riverside restaurant with rooms, offering warm hospitality, fresh seasonal food, and a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Ross-on-Wye. We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Housekeeping Team Member to join our growing team and help us deliver exceptional stays for our guests.
The Role
As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play an essential part in creating a welcoming, spotless, and comfortable environment across our guest rooms and public areas. You’ll take pride in high standards and enjoy being part of a supportive, hands‑on team. Your responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness across communal areas
- Replenishing linens, towels, toiletries, and supplies
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Working efficiently to daily room lists
- Ensuring excellent presentation across the property
What We’re Looking For
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to help where needed
- Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential—full training provided
Hours & Pay
- Flexible hours, including weekends
