We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join the team at The Wild Duck, one of the Cotswolds’ most loved and characterful pubs. Set in the village of Ewen, just outside Cirencester, The Wild Duck is known for its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and a food offering built around seasonality, simplicity, and bold, honest flavours.

The Role – Chef de Partie
As Chef de Partie, you’ll take ownership of your section, working as part of a close-knit kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food. You’ll be organised, eager to learn, and take pride in doing things properly — from prep through to service.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running your section during prep and service
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
- Supporting the Sous and Head Chef in delivering smooth service
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
- Assisting with stock rotation and organisation
- Contributing to a positive, professional kitchen culture
