About The Senior HR Manager / Head Of HR
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Manager / Head of HR to join our growing company.
Are you an experienced HR leader with a strong track record of managing teams, driving change and continuously improving our services, systems and processes?
As the senior manager within the HR department, you will be responsible for managing teams and individuals to bring out the best in each person, driving change and continuously improving our services, as well as understanding, analysing and improving systems and processes.
You will be accountable for the performance of the HR Administration and Compliance teams, working alongside the Project Team to ensure new systems and processes are implemented with minimum disruption, and working closely with the Sponsorship Team to ensure compliance with all Home Office rules and regulations.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that our HR policies, processes and procedures meet the highest standards, while ensuring that we adhere to all relevant Employment Laws and leading the introduction of expected changes across the organisation.
- Some Of Your Responsibilities Include
- Managing and supporting the HR team to ensure that we are delivering an excellent service to our customers whilst also helping to implement a new system and processes.
- Ensuring that the department always remains within budget with responsibility for invoice authorisation.
- Provide monthly reports on pre agreed KPI’s and build out new KPI's as required.
- Ongoing review and management of the HR policies to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory changes and business needs
- Involvement and management of the annual pay rate review process, liaising with multiple stakeholders within the business (budget holders, home managers, and area managers)
- Ensure safeguarding, safe recruitment practices, GDPR and compliance at all times.
- Support the HR programmes to staff and new starters.
- Work with other senior managers / Heads of department to develop our strategy and implement it (Business Improvement Teams - BIT).
- Review and rollout of any benefit schemes
- Contributing to, and in some cases, organising of periodic training days for the wider care home teams (Home Administrators).

About You
We are looking for a proactive and confident person who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of health, safety & compliance. You will have:
- Significant experience of managing people and processes, ideally through periods of change.
- Experience of public speaking to sell Projects and policies across the organisation.
- CIPD level 5 and above (desired)
- HR / People Team management
- Project / Programme Management experience (desired)
- Audit experience (desired)
- Knowledge of the Sponsorship process (desired)
- Must have a car and driving licence.
