Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Chef to join our early years team and help create exciting, nutritional meals and snacks for children. The role focuses on high-quality food preparation, food safety, and contributing to a child-centred kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of high-quality meals for the children.
• Promote and monitor food hygiene and safety standards, carry out risk assessments, and ensure the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard.
• Take responsibility for the kitchen and its staff; assist with menu planning and ordering.

About You

We want an experienced Chef who is proactive, passionate, and ambitious.

• Friendly and approachable, with contact with the children.
• Experience as a chef in a catering environment.
• Valid food hygiene certificate.
• A passion for producing high-quality food.
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility.
• City & Guilds 7061 or NVQ Level 2 in Catering for the Hospitality Industry.
• Ideally over 3 years of experience as a Chef or in a similar environment and role.
