What you will be doing:
- Organise varied activities within the Home to cater for a variety of interests and life stories for individuals, small groups and large numbers of residents.
- Meet targets set out to improve our resident’s lives which includes getting to know every resident through our ‘Resident of the Day’ programme.
- Work together with other local community groups and the wider local area.
- Bring fun, ideas, and energy into our residents’ lives! Inspire others through great relationships, to deliver a range of thought‑provoking wellbeing ideas.
- Coordinate a wide range of trips & experiences within the local area for small groups & individuals.
- Arrange key events throughout the year, such as seasonal celebrations & charity events.
About you:
- We are looking for someone who is friendly, welcoming, and entertaining, and would ensure all activities are appropriate for all residents.
- An understanding of the care sector would be advantageous.
- Have a friendly & caring attitude.
- Able to engage well with residents and their families.
- Be proactive, passionate, and a supportive team player, with experience of maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
- You will be going out and about, networking, planning activities and with residents therefore having access to your own vehicle with business insurance is essential.
