Responsibilities:
- Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
- Administration and monitoring of medications to residents
- Supporting residents at meal times
- Mentor & assist new employees
- Implement, monitor and review care plans to meet residents' specific needs
- Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants
About You:
- Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team
- Be no stranger to working night shifts
- Have a friendly & caring attitude
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this
- Great communication skills, both written & verbal
