Key Responsibilities- Carry out a wide range of groundworks and landscaping tasks, including paving, fencing, drainage, turfing, planting, and general site maintenance
- Improve outdoor spaces to ensure they are safe, accessible, and visually appealing for residents
- Identify and resolve potential hazards within external areas to maintain a safe environment
- Work closely with the Estates team, Home Managers, and Maintenance staff to deliver planned improvements
- Complete tasks both independently and as part of a team, depending on project requirements
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order
- Support ongoing projects aimed at enhancing the external environment of the homes
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in groundworks, landscaping, or a similar field
- Proven ability to carry out a variety of practical outdoor works
- Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional, respectful approach when working in care home environments
- Reliable and proactive with a hands‑on approach
- Takes pride in delivering high‑quality work
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for residents
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
