Location: Selwood House Care Home, Chestnut Road, Charlton Down, Dorchester

Hours: 30 hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times‑7:00 am to 03:00 pm)

About the role

Selwood House Care Home is a luxury care home located near Dorchester, accommodating up to 84 residents and specialising in residential care, dementia care, and short‑term respite care. As a Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant you will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. Responsibilities include washing, pressing and folding residents’ personal clothing and bedding, ensuring rooms are impeccably clean, and following thorough cleaning procedures so that no surface is left unchecked. You will be a key member of the household, supporting the residents’ everyday needs.

About you

  • Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
