Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager – Fairfield Manor Care Home, Fairfield, Hitchin, Bedfordshire Part of The Country Court Family Hours: 45 Hours per week, working weekends on rota , working on the floor at least 3 days a week and 1 supernumerary. Fairfield Manor Care Home is located in Fairfield near Hitchin and has 75 bedrooms. The dedicated team offer round the clock support, making life enjoyable and comfortable for the residents. ABOUT YOU Are you an experienced ambitious Clinical RGN with a valid PIN looking to take your next step in your career? You will be supporting the Home Manager across all aspects of Home Management, providing a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors: Have strong leadership skills & are highly motivated Have a friendly & caring attitude Able to engage well with the residents and their families Have strong written & verbal communication skills Experience of working with people with Dementia Valid NMC Pin ABOUT THE CLINICAL DEPUTY CARE HOME MANAGER ROLE Within your role as the Clinical Deputy Care Home Manager you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Some of your responsibilities will include: Responsible for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified and unqualified care staff. Support the Manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures, and business objectives. Prepare the staff duty rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels at all times. Responsible for monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are promptly investigated and dealt with appropriately. Please note: You will be required to cover some shifts on the floor as required night or day.
