Countesthorpe Academy seeks an Assistant Head of Faculty and Maths Lead to support leadership, manage and develop the Mathematics faculty, and lead the delivery of maths across Key Stage 3, 4 and Post 16.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the teaching of Maths within the faculty.
- Monitor the quality of provision and support teacher development.
- Work collaboratively with the Headteacher and Head of Faculty on curriculum and assessment.
- Carry out other duties reasonably assigned by the Headteacher and Head of Faculty.
- Experience as a Maths teacher with a proven track record of leading in Maths with strong outcomes.
- Strong understanding of Maths curriculum across Key Stage 3, 4 and Post 16.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and raise aspirations.
- Stamina, enthusiasm and a sense of humour.
