Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics with a specialist interest in hand surgery

This is a full-time (10 PAs) consultant role within the Orthopaedic Department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in trauma surgery and a special interest in complex hand surgery.

The successful candidate will join a team of 13 consultants and contribute to an expanding service. Flexibility to work at the South of the Mersey Hub at Clatterbridge Hospital may be required.

Main duties of the job

The appointee will manage patient care referred by GPs and hospital staff, conduct clinics, ward rounds, and theatre lists, and undertake programmed activities as appropriate.
