Job overview
Working Full Time: 10 Sessions per week. Applications are invited for a substantive post for the position of Consultant in Elderly Medicine. The Elderly Medicine department has expanded rapidly over the past 7 years and this additional post will bring the number of Geriatricians within the department to thirteen. Such rapid growth has offered many opportunities for service development in Elderly Medicine providing a comprehensive portfolio of specialist elderly care services. The team has an inclusive and flexible approach to developing services and supporting one another. Interested applicants should be keen to replicate this further. The post offers exciting opportunities for a successful candidate who wishes to influence the rapid developments occurring within this energetic and dynamic department. This post will support Acute Frailty services either directly or through other subspecialty support.
