Working Full Time: 10 sessions per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a Locum Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join the team in our new purpose-built Women & Children’s Building. The contract will be 6-12 months, dependent on start dates.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical excellence in antenatal clinic, labour ward cover, general gynaecology clinic, caesarean section lists, and emergency gynaecology.
- Participate in the non-resident 3rd on call rota (currently 1 in 12).
- Demonstrate flexibility in role and commitment to Safe, Kind and Effective care.

- Consultant-level expertise in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Strong commitment to multi‑professional working.
- Ability to demonstrate a skill mix that helps the department thrive and develop.
- Willingness to cover 10 sessions per week and participate in the call rota.
