Additional responsibilities within high risk Obstetrics will include leading a high risk antenatal clinic, multiple pregnancy clinic, and a pre- and post-pregnancy counselling service, in collaboration with other Consultants interested in high risk pregnancies. The successful candidate is also expected to actively participate in various local, regional, and national quality and safety initiatives. Depending on the candidate\’s skills and the department\’s needs, the role may include a gynaecology component, likely focusing on ambulatory/outpatient or emergency gynaecology.

All employees are expected to be flexible in their roles to ensure the delivery of Safe, Kind, and Effective care. The successful applicant will participate in the non-resident 3rd on-call rota, currently scheduled at 1 in 12.
