Role Description

As a Counterweight Coach, you will provide structured, evidence-based support to individuals participating in Counterweight’s weight management and type 2 diabetes remission programmes.

You will conduct individual in-person coaching sessions, guide participants through programme milestones, monitor progress, and help them navigate challenges using motivational interviewing and behaviour change techniques.

Additional tasks will include reviewing clinical and lifestyle data, documenting session notes, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to programme protocols.

You will also contribute feedback to improve programme materials and processes based on participant outcomes and experiences.

This is a sessional on-site role, requiring travel and consistent availability at the scheduled clinic time.

  • Experience in health coaching, dietetics, nutrition or a related healthcare or behavioural science field.
  • Strong skills in motivational interviewing, behaviour change support, and empathetic communication with diverse populations.
