In line with CTP and vetting security expectations, candidates should exercise discretion when discussing their application. Please ensure that your personal email address is used primarily throughout the application process – this includes CV/Cover Letter submissions and all security clearance checks. This is important because personal email addresses are the most secure and reliable way to keep you reachable throughout the process. University email accounts can be institution-managed and may be filtered, restricted, or deactivated, which can interrupt access to secure links and updates. You can still provide your university email as a secondary contact. Using a personal email helps protect confidentiality, ensures you remain in control of account recovery/Multi-Factor Authentication, and reduces the risk of missed time critical messages or sensitive information being sent to an account you may later lose access to.
