You will provide an efficient and comprehensive business support and finance services to ensure effective management of police resource within the North East Region. Your duties will include:
- Regularly viewing and monitoring expenditure and income against defined budgets.
- Assisting in the preparation and collation of regular management information.
- Processing and validating Police and Police Staff overtime on relevant Force systems.
- Distributing petty cash and maintaining financial records of spend.
- Processing region-wide financial transactions for goods, services, equipment, and consumables.
- Resolving invoice and purchasing queries, validating accuracy and budget coding.
- Raising debtor invoices to recover income and support income generation.
Your role will also include providing comprehensive administrative support, including:
- Sorting and distributing ingoing and outgoing mail.
- Responding to requests and queries from Officers and Staff.
- Booking travel and accommodation for members of staff and Officers travelling around or Out of Force through a booking agency often in high pressure, time-sensitive situations.
