North East West Yorkshire Police are looking to recruit a full time Control Desk and Research Operator to be based in North West Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terrorism Policing.
The overall purpose of the role is to support a number of roles in the efficient running of border operations in the North East of England. Specifically, to assist with the co-ordination of tasking of staff and CT activity, recording of performance data and management information, and intelligence research to support frontline staff.
- Proven office experience
- Previous experience within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research, along with a good understanding of the National Standards of Intelligence Management (NSIM)
- Experience of receiving and assessing intelligence
- Good working knowledge of, and ability to operate, computerised databases
