An opportunity to be a Finance Manager for a privately owned real estate group based in Birmingham. Not your standard role, very client focused!
Main Duties:
- Preparing monthly reports for clients, ensuring all financial activities within the managed property portfolio are documented in the agreed formats.
- Supporting clients with their budgeting and forecasting needs.
- Overseeing the Client Accounting Team.
- Compiling month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, deferred income, and IFRS16 compliance.
- Reviewing and approving month-end reports before submission to clients.
- Conducting a monthly review and approval of bank reconciliations.
- Reviewing and approving the monthly governance pack alongside Account leads.
- Ensuring adherence to client specifications and quality standards.
- Assisting the Head of finance with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Location / Office / Culture:
This role is hybrid with 2 days in the office based in Birmingham. The office is a busy, friendly head office in a central location. The team are well developed and there is plenty of support from management.
