About the Business
A fantastic opportunity to join a growing, multi-site group as a Group Financial Controller, based near Worcester. The business operates across manufacturing and has grown significantly through acquisition, with continued ambitions for organic growth and further M&A. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a finance function that is evolving from a traditional, control-focused team into a more insight-led, commercially minded one, working closely alongside the Group Finance Director.
Main Duties:
- Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycle, and owning the month-end close timetable to ensure information is accurate, timely and well controlled.
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and variance commentary.
- Maintaining strong balance sheet control and overseeing the completion and review of reconciliations.
- Strengthening financial controls and driving consistent accounting treatment across sites, entities and newly acquired businesses.
- Supporting statutory reporting, audit, tax and wider group reporting requirements.
- Assisting the Group Finance Director with board packs, investor reporting and senior leadership updates.
