About the Business An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for an outsourcing business based in Birmingham . The organisation operates nationally and strives to be a market leader in their industry. Main Duties: As a Management Accountant , your main duties include: Preparation of monthly management accounts Production of weekly sales reports, staff utilisation reports and aged debt reports Preparation of weekly and monthly payroll for processing Preparation of weekly supplier payments Analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements Ensuring that financial data is timely, accurate, and relevant for decision-making Conducting detailed cost analysis Monitoring capital expenditures and ensuring they align with budgeted expectations Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures. Assisting in the preparation of tax returns, including VAT and corporation tax.
