We are recruiting for an Interim Finance Business Partner for a great charity based in Birmingham, Longbridge. This is a 6 month contract, with a possibility of going permanent. This business offers really flexible working within a welcoming and diverse working environment.
Main Duties:
- Become the main commercial partner to operational staff, business partnering a broad range of staff across the business, helping influence commercial decisions.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the UK business unit within the required timeframe, including the necessary adjustment journals and forecasts of income and expenditure.
- Generate monthly or quarterly management accounts for five business units outside East Africa, based on transaction listings provided.
- Process income transfers from the UK directly into other SI business units.
- Develop financial reports for donors regarding all grants and contracts managed from the UK, and work alongside finance colleagues to produce financial reports for contracts managed outside the UK.
- Offer guidance to Programmes and Fundraising staff in drafting budgets for funding applications and reviewing budgets prior to submission.
- Strengthen and support the finance functions of international teams, ensuring their performance through regular remote communication and visits, up to approximately four weeks per year, as required.
Location / Office / Culture: This business has offices based in Birmingham, close to Longbridge. They offer a really flexible hybrid working policy, allowing you to only go into the office a couple of times.
