About the Business

An opportunity to be a Systems Accountant for an international services group based in Droitwich, offering a salary of £60,000 - £70,000. You'll be working hybrid within a close-knit central Group Finance team. This is a business built on ambitious growth, and this role sits right at the heart of that story, helping to shape the systems and processes that support the wider group.

Main Duties:

  • Owning the accuracy, reliability and security of the group's finance systems and the data that sits behind them
  • Leading or supporting the implementation, upgrade and integration of finance systems
  • Designing and refining financial processes to drive efficiency and strengthen internal controls
  • Building management information, dashboards and reporting tools that support decision-making across the business
  • Acting as a key link between group companies, IT teams and external system providers
  • Maintaining the chart of accounts, system hierarchies and reporting structures
  • Diagnosing and resolving system issues that affect day-to-day financial operations
  • Delivering training and ongoing support to finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Supporting compliance with accounting standards, regulation and internal governance requirements
  • Contributing to the preparation and review of the Group's Annual Report and related disclosures
  • Getting involved in wider transformation projects, including automation and digitalisation initiatives

Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid, based in Droitwich. You'll be joining a close-knit, central finance function of around 10 people within a fast-growing, international group, giving you real visibility and the chance to work closely with colleagues across the business.

What We Are Looking For

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified – strongly desired but not essential
  • A background from either practice or industry
  • Oracle systems experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Proven experience leading or supporting system implementations is essential
  • A strong track record of driving systems improvements and upgrades
