An opportunity to be an Interim Commercial Management Accountant for a manufacturing company based in Coalville. As a market-leader, this business is looking for an experienced management accountant to join the team on an interim basis.
This is an engaging, hands-on Management Accountant Role which involves:
- Provide accurate and timely management accounts and financial reporting.
- Review accruals and prepayments.
- Month end closure process for sales, debtors, stock & general Ledgers.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple sites.
- Prepare and analyse monthly variance reports, KPIs, and profitability analysis.
- Deliver cost analysis, pricing support, and margin reporting to aid commercial decisions.
- Track and report on capital expenditure (CapEx) and assist in investment appraisals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Preparing group sales reports for Management team.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to support year-end audits and regulatory reporting.
- Quarterly Reporting: including OSMI, Goods in Transit, IC Profit in Inventory, IC Profit in Freight and Performance Obligations.
The role is based at their Head Office in Coalville. The company operates from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 8 within a wider finance team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Part/Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA (or equivalent) or QBE.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Management Accounts.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Understanding of Stock and Forecasting is a bonus!
- Excellent communication skills.
