About the business
A brilliant opportunity to join a growing specialist services business in Coventry as their Accounts Manager. This is a genuinely hands-on finance role where you will work directly alongside the Managing Director, taking real ownership of the day-to-day finance function and playing an important part in shaping how the business grows financially. Main duties
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working within the company’s cloud-based accounting platform.
- Keeping on top of bank reconciliations, raising invoices, processing supplier payments and managing credit control.
- Proactively monitoring outstanding balances and following up on overdue accounts.
- Tracking project performance and profitability, providing regular commercial insight to the business.
- Interrogating income, expenditure and project margins to highlight trends, risks and areas of focus.
