About the Business

This is a key, hands-on role working closely alongside the Managing Director, giving you real influence over the finance function from day one – with the opportunity to shape and develop it as the business continues to grow. Main Duties
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function, utilising Xero as the core platform
- Overseeing bank reconciliations, invoicing, supplier payments and the management of credit control processes
- Proactively monitoring and following up on overdue balances to maintain healthy cashflow
- Assessing project performance and profitability through Xero Projects, keeping a close eye on margins and trends
- Examining income, expenditure and project margins to highlight areas of opportunity or concern
- Preparing management reports and delivering financial commentary to support informed decision-making across the business
- Contributing to cashflow forecasting, budgeting and fee forecasting activity
