We are supporting a market-leading business based in Coalville, in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their dynamic payroll function on a permanent basis. You'll take ownership of weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish for a workforce of 1,000+ employees, playing a key role in ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time. This opportunity offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly and monthly payrolls end-to-end for 1,000+ employees
  • Calculating holiday pay and National Insurance
  • Calculating SSP, SMP and SPP
  • Carrying out manual payroll calculations
  • Resolving payroll queries efficiently and professionally
  • Keeping up to date with current payroll legislation
  • Reviewing current payroll processes and identifying opportunities for improvement
