Counselling Plus is a charity providing professional counselling to people aged 16 years and over in Hastings and Rother. Established in 1992 to support local residents, primarily on benefits or low incomes.
We are looking to recruit a new Clinical Supervisor/ Assessor to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will show an ability to supervise a mixed team of experienced and student therapists, alongside having a full understanding of assessing clients presenting with complex issues, including those linked with living in an area of deprivation.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality supervision.
- Conduct assessments of clients referred to the service.
- Establish positive and proactive relationships with supervisees, supervisors, managers and admin team.
- Nurture and challenge supervisees.
- Understand changes within the sector and disseminate to the service.
- Follow safeguarding policies.
- Holds current membership of relevant governing body.
- Extensive experience as a practicing therapist working with complex clients.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage safeguarding concerns, working with Pre Trial conditions, diversity, inclusion.
- Flexible to meet needs of the service.
- Project a positive image of CPC in order to achieve high outcomes.
