We are seeking an External Examiner to join our Nursing Associate programme (apprenticeships and direct entries). This role is an important part of maintaining academic standards, supporting high quality learning, and ensuring fairness and consistency across our assessment processes.
About the Role:
- Reviewing a range of modules within the Nursing Associate programme, including both academic and practice based assessments.
- Reviewing assessment briefs, marking, and moderation processes.

- Attending at least one Assessment Board per year (online attendance is usually possible).
- Contributing an annual report outlining findings and recommendations.

- Hold a professional registration with the NMC.
- Have experience teaching or assessing Nursing Associate students or similar healthcare programmes.
- Are currently employed in UK higher education.
- Have not held an External Examiner role with us in the past five years.

Term of Appointment:
