Role

CCMS is seeking to appoint the post of Information and Communications Officer who will develop and maintain corporate systems and procedures for information management, communications and data‑driven decision making. They will support the formulation and implementation of corporate policy and strategy and lead and coordinate (internal and external) corporate communications.

They will be the nominated Data Protection Officer responsible for ensuring that CCMS meets the requirements of relevant legislation whilst supporting the development of organisational and officer capacity in communications, information management and data‑driven decision‑making, including enhancing the use of digital platforms and AI.

Essential Criteria

  1. A degree or equivalent third level qualification.
  2. At least 2 years’ experience in at least 2 of the following:
    • Communications
    • Information Governance
    • Project management
  3. Knowledge of key developments and priorities in education.
  4. Access to a form of transport that meets the requirements of the role.

Desirable Criteria

Preference may be given to candidates who hold a post graduate degree or relevant professional qualification and have at least 2 years’ experience in all three areas e.g. communications, information governance and project management.
