Our client is a leading manufacturer in the manufacturing industry and is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join their team in Gamlingay.
Reporting to the parts department, you will be responsible for the cutting and measuring of raw materials, specifically a variety of steels.
As a Saw Operator, your tasks include:
- Operating an automatic saw and tube cutter
- Operating manual saws for cutting mainly stainless steel solid
- Accurately reading from technical drawings
- Cutting stainless steel material to required lengths
- Completing job sheets
- Using appropriate measuring equipment
