Our client is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee multiple projects at once, leading from the front with hands-on management and strong client relationships. You’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning to commissioning, managing subcontractors, delegating tasks, and keeping budgets on track to ensure every project delivers maximum value. You’ll be working with a trusted name in building services, known for delivering high-quality solutions across sectors including Commercial, Retail, FMCG, Education, Industrial, Sports, and Defence. What you’ll be doing as Project Manager:
- Lead and deliver electrical building services projects from start to finish
- Manage multiple contracts at once, ensuring every project runs on time and within budget
- Define project tasks, allocate resources, and oversee subcontractor performance
- Review and interpret design drawings, cable schedules, and circuit layouts
- Prepare project reports for clients and directors, keeping communication clear and consistent
- Oversee the tendering process and contribute to commercial decision-making
- Drive high standards of Health & Safety across all sites
- Support and develop staff and subcontractors to build a strong project team
- Travel to sites across the UK (typically 1–2 days per visit)
We’re looking for a Project Manager who:
- Brings solid experience in electrical contracting, with a proven track record managing complex projects from start to finish
- Holds relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications (or equivalent experience)
- Has sharp commercial awareness and the confidence to make smart, timely decisions
- Communicates clearly, builds strong relationships, and knows how to get the best from people
- Is confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Stays organised under pressure and can juggle multiple priorities with ease
