The Role

  • As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of an established territory, managing key accounts and developing repeat business opportunities across the engineering sector.
  • You will play a key role in driving profitability, increasing market share and supporting the wider commercial objectives of the business.
  • This is a consultative, relationship-led sales role requiring strong technical understanding, commercial awareness and the ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within your territory.
  • Manage and develop existing key accounts to maximise repeat business opportunities.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.

  • Plan and manage customer site visits effectively.
  • Prepare and submit technical quotations and sales documentation.
  • Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity through the CRM system.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
  • Support the Sales Director and wider business where required.

About You
