As a Partner Sales Rep, you will be selling our award-winning NoSQL database Enterprise Solution and Capella AI. You will focus on accounts up to $500m in revenue and be part of a high-achieving sales team that has established Couchbase as a dominant player in the local database market. Your responsibilities include holding a direct quota for new business, working through our channel infrastructure to develop new opportunities, building relationships with prospective customers, generating leads, and contributing to the overall success of the sales team. You’ll be building a volume business and selling the value of our product and services offering. Key responsibilities Develop and execute your Sales Franchise Plan Create and deliver pipeline generation programs leveraging our partner infrastructure Close business to meet or exceed quarterly and annual objectives Acquire net new logos Identify opportunities at existing partner accounts and establish new accounts to develop sales pipeline Lead presentations on the company and product line to potential customers in partnership with partners Coordinate with pre-sales, professional services, marketing, SDRs, and legal teams Manage all aspects of the sales process: pipeline generation, deal qualification, relationship management, closing, and post-sales satisfaction Maintain a detailed understanding of the Couchbase platform and communicate use cases effectively in Cloud SaaS and on-premise environments Demonstrate passion for customer satisfaction and new customer acquisition to grow the franchise and contribute to enterprise growth Provide reliable forecast information to upper management Requirements BA/BS or equivalent work experience Experience with MEDDIC sales methodology 6+ years of direct experience selling Tech B2B solutions Results-driven, accountable, resourceful, and self-motivated Top 10% performer with a track record of overachievement (e.g., President\’s Club, Rep of the Year) Proficiency in selling cloud solutions through a consumption-based model Extensive experience selling through an ISV/Partner model Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Experience working in fast-paced, startup/scale-up US organizations is advantageous Highly driven and relationship-oriented Why Couchbase?
