Supply Chain Assistant

Overview

An ideal opportunity for an undergraduate to join the UK Demand Planning Team, supporting the team to plan and improve forecast accuracy across the brands in the UK Market. This opportunity offers exposure and insight into the supply chain of the Beauty industry, providing valuable experience related to forecasting to support the business.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting
2. Run daily, weekly and monthly reports
3. Maintain current trackers
4. Bring improvements to existing reports
5. Projects
6. Build presentations as requested by the team
7. Help the team with meetings minutes and follow ups
8. Assist and support with new product launches
9. Take on any other demand planning projects as part of the teams\\\’ yearly goals (eg. SKU classification)
10. Forecasting
11. Supporting UK demand planning team across all brands
12. Work with supply planning and commercial to manage unexpected customer orders
13. Day to day support in executing demand plans & conducting regular forecast analysis as directed
14. Support the demand planning team with UK sales team requests
15. Provide insight and analysis to improve forecast accuracy
16. Help with preparations for the S&OP meetings
17. Liaise with marketing and sales team to ensure testers forecast is captured
18. Conduct analysis on the customer forecast and provide insights and conclusions on recommendation for the Sales plan
19. Communicating supply chain issues that could affect the business

Qualifications

1. Good knowledge of Excel, numeracy and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
2. Learns quick and understands dynamics within the market and fragrance category
3. Strong analytical skills
4. Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
5. Ability to work effectively to deadline
6. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and ability to build strong working relationships
7. Strong team player and collaborates easily with others, willing to help and learn from others and shares relevant information with the team
8. Able to demonstrate a creative flair and solve problems
9. Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
