MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Visual Merchandising, you will support the total Prestige Visual Merchandising and Store Design function and play a key role in supporting the execution of retail excellence strategy across all Coty's retailers.
The VM Assistant is an established team player, passionate about Beauty and the In-Store environment, with experience and appetite for owning the creative and administrative aspects of the business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Support the project management and implementation of Visual Merchandising and Store Design executions in Permanent doors, temporary activations, and pop-ups, ensuring timelines are met within budgetary parameters.
- Conduct monthly competitor reviews, ensuring trends and relevant updates from inside and outside the Beauty industry are communicated and presented to the wider team.
- Support the implementation of new product launches and permanent animations in-store, considering all customer touch points and building customer-centric and engaging retail concepts.
- Develop, effectively track, and communicate VM elements forecasts, Tester ordering, Purchase Orders, Maintenance reports, and control allocated budgets.
- Organise and implement visual and digital updates from brief to execution, across the Permanent estate in collaboration with the VM Project Managers.
- Provide key support for new door openings and site launches, contributing to organise all elements and teams appointed for the launch.
- Conduct monthly visits to key doors and champion collaboration with the Retail Excellence Manager.
- Help establish a strong partnership with field teams with the creation of Launch VM Guidelines and post-installation reports.
- Support the creation of effective briefings for internal and external designers and manage external suppliers and agencies.
- Integrate sustainability as a key driver of the visual merchandising action.
- Partner with the wider internship team to ensure VM & Store Design is leading in cross-functional projects.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Creative, Marketing or Business-related degree. Graduates in Interior Design, Product Design or Architecture will also be desirable.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Office package literate: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- 3D design and/or CAD software (Sketch-up, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, C4D) is highly desirable but not essential.
- Creative and conceptualisation skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills.
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong team player who is well organised with a sense of priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously and multitask in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
