We’re looking for an intern to join the Global Merchandising team, in the Coty Consumer Beauty Division – working on brands such as Rimmel London, Max Factor & Bourjois. The internship will help you acquire skills in visual merchandising, trade marketing and retail excellence. You will gain broad and relevant experience, in an exciting role, that should prepare you for any fast-paced work environment.
This role will provide valuable experience, on-the-job learning, mentorship & autonomy to deliver work that will make an impact on how our incredible brands appear in stores around the world.
The Role
- Go-To-Market: Champion retail & merchandising excellence to elevate in-store brand experience, globally. Develop in-store activation toolkits, to support best in class market execution. Build in strategic insights, to ensure creative is optimised for the store channel. Translate brand visual identity into instore guidelines for markets to execute with excellence. Be a brand guardian to ensure consistent ‘on-brand’ execution around the world.
- Competitive Insights: Work in close collaboration with markets to assess market competitive landscape for cosmetics & personal care around the world (portfolio gap, pricing & business model). Conduct monthly store visits, and report back to the team, to stay up to date with market activity.
- Future Store: Support Global Merchandising Manager to accelerate the ‘future store’ strategy, with an omni-channel lens.
- Team support: Tracking & raising POs, uploading assets to global systems, management of samples to agencies.

- Commercial & strategic mind-set; Visual Merchandising is so much more than just a pretty picture.
- Natural creative eye, and appreciation of aesthetics, with a basic understanding of design principles.
- Logical thinker, with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

- Sound knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Previous marketing experience or design agency experience is a bonus.
