As Global In-Store VM Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of in-store experiences for Coty CB Color Cosmetics brands, within the Global In-store Excellence team. This role will be at the forefront of leading in-store experiences for our brand. This role demands a strategic approach, combining creative innovation with a deep understanding of retail trends, shopper behaviour and retailer’s landscape. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that every aspect of the store experience aligns with broader brand strategies and market needs. This position requires a creative mindset, strong project management skills and agility.

YOUR MAIN FOCUS

  • Translate brand strategy and product innovation launches into clear, executable global merchandising guidelines for permanent and temporary retail environments;
  • Design and develop permanent in-store fixtures, and visual merchandising elements that maximize brand expression and are rooted in shopper insights while also considering retailers and competitive environment, for an optimized store experience and ROI;
  • Stay ahead of retail trends and the competitive environment to create stand out and ROI driven in-store solutions;
  • Print production knowledge.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Create strong written and verbal briefs that effectively communicate project objectives, requirements, and expectations, incorporating insights from cross-functional teams;
  • Provide strategic retail and in-store expertise to guide and influence global brands and creative teams in the development of campaigns and distinctive assets;
  • Collaborate with global cross functional teams to advise on global guidelines adaptation to local specificities;
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to maintain feedback loops and ensure alignment from design to execution, supporting the strategic direction.

  • As an experienced In-Store / Retail Design / Visual Merchandising expert, you have a blend of creativity and strategic thinking with excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • You thrive from working in a fast-paced, diverse, and international environment, and are hungry to drive change in our industry.
  • In addition to these key traits, you:
  • Have +10 years of relevant VM experience, preferably in beauty with a Local Market and/or Global experience.
  • Hold a University degree / Business School / Creative background.
  • Possess strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi stakeholders’ environment.
  • Are business-oriented, a creative thinker, proactive, detail and solution oriented, with a strong retail mindset (able to balance aesthetic excellence with commercial needs) and a cost-conscious approach.
  • Have a good understanding of retailers, shoppers, competitors and trends to contribute to the evolution and adaptation of brand guidelines.
  • Exhibit strong communicator & presentation skills, both written & verbal.
  • Have the capability to remain calm under pressure in a changing environment and to manage unexpected challenges.
  • Possess very strong knowledge/skills of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Have 2D & 3D Technical design skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp (or similar).
  • Have budget management experience.
  • Are fluent in English.
