Field Sales - Boots, Birmingham

As Business Manager - Fragrance, you will have full ownership of your business within Boots Birmingham - driving sales performance, leading and developing your team, and delivering exceptional fragrance experiences through flawless execution, service, and commercial leadership.

THE ROLE

As our Business Manager - Fragrance, you play a critical role in delivering overall sales objectives while ensuring excellence of execution across your account. You are accountable for leading, motivating, and developing your team, combining strong commercial acumen with a deep passion for luxury fragrance.

You will be reporting to the Area Manager, and you will manage:

Sales Performance & Customer Experience

  • Coach and motivate the team to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
  • Fairly distribute targets daily, weekly, and monthly across the team
  • Deliver Coty's customer service ceremony with every customer interaction
  • Build strong customer relationships to influence, convert, and retain
  • Consistently drive upsell while maintaining a premium fragrance experience

Excellence of Execution

  • Lead by example as a brand ambassador, protecting Coty brand equity at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with We Live Beauty and mandatory Coty Academy training
  • Execute all merchandising guidelines across permanent and promotional space
  • Maintain strong commercial awareness of Coty performance, competitors, and market share
  • Plan and execute customer eventing aligned with fragrance brand standards
  • Accurately complete month-end, payroll, and feedback processes within deadlines
  • Adhere to uniform, grooming, and retailer Code of Conduct standards
  • Escalate any risks or issues promptly to the Area Manager

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Take full ownership of team performance, engagement, and development
  • Build strong working relationships with the Coty in-store team
  • Manage and integrate agency staff as part of the wider team
  • Develop effective partnerships with mobile consultants
  • Grow networks across the wider Coty team within your area
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with the Area Manager
  • Develop trusted relationships with retailer staff and store management
  • Provide ad‑hoc mentoring to new managers within the business

Technical Processes

  • Use iPad tools for reporting, communication, and VM guidelines
  • Maintain secure control of iPads and Coty passwords for self and team
  • Ensure consistent and correct use of Coty systems and online documentation
