We are looking for a Head of HR UKI Supply Chain to lead the people's agenda across our Ashford Manufacturing Site (about 300 employees) and Bournemouth Distribution Centre (about 100 employees) with a team of 3 HR partners. This role drives employee relations, talent and performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and transformation initiatives, ensuring a high-performing and inclusive workforce that supports business objectives.

As our Head of HR UKI Supply Chain (Ashford Factory Based), you play a critical role in leading the HR agenda across our UKI Supply Chain sites, partnering with site leadership to drive employee engagement, talent development, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, workforce planning, and transformation initiatives while ensuring effective delivery of HR processes and people strategies. The role includes responsibility for permanent and agency employees. It is based in our Ashford factory and it requires limited travel, mostly to Bournemouth and Wimbledon.

You will be part of the Site lead team and will be reporting to the Global VP HR Manufacturing, Logistics & Quality/Process Assurance, and you will manage:

  • TALENT MANAGEMENT & ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Support leaders with recruitment, attraction, workforce planning, and organization design. Facilitate talent reviews and calibration sessions to maintain a strong understanding of site capabilities. Co-create initiatives to increase capabilities in line with site objectives. Guide effective goal setting to support employee growth and business success. Develop managers to become more autonomous and self-sufficient.
  • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, ENGAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT: Manage employee relations matters, including formal and informal resolutions, ensuring fair and well-documented outcomes. Drive the employee engagement agenda through employee forums, communications plans, and town hall events. Lead strategies to retain employer-of-choice status and foster an inclusive workplace. Design and deliver learning and development initiatives aligned to business needs. Own and implement Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives and related programmes.
  • HR PROJECTS & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Lead local HR projects supporting workforce planning, skills development, talent pipelines, digital capabilities, and site objectives. Own HR KPIs, reporting, gap analysis, action planning, and presentation in senior business reviews. Partner with shared services and site leaders to maximize self-service delivery while managing escalations. Track and assess wellbeing initiatives and collaborate across functions to support employee wellbeing. Leverage Power BI, AI tools, and data insights to drive continuous improvement in HR processes.

As an experienced HR leader with a strong understanding of UK employment law and stakeholder management, you thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You are collaborative, influential, results-oriented, and an effective communicator.

Strong understanding of UK employment law. Experience implementing the HR agenda in a manufacturing, distribution, or comparable environment. Experience managing employee relations matters and delivering fair outcomes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience supporting talent management, workforce planning, and organizational design. Experience leading employee engagement, learning and development, and DE&I initiatives. Experience leading HR projects and transformation initiatives. Digital skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities, highly desired.
