About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Decarbonisation Delivery Manager to join our Assets team. The ideal candidate will have experience of:
- Industry Expertise: Experience in energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and retrofit projects, with knowledge of PAS 2035 & PAS 2030.
- Project Management: Proven ability to develop, manage, and deliver retrofit and net-zero programmes, including contractor oversight and funding applications (e.g., SHDF, ECO).
- Compliance & Risk: Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring quality assurance and risk management.
- Leadership & Engagement: Skilled in team management, stakeholder collaboration, and resident engagement.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Knowledge of building fabric, energy technologies, and data-driven performance monitoring.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Programme Delivery & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
- Team & Stakeholder Management: Manage a small team, collaborate with contractors, and engage key stakeholders to drive programme success.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to PAS standards, health & safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Budget & Funding: Oversee project budgets, track expenditure, and secure funding through grants and government schemes.
- Performance & Health & Safety: Monitor KPIs, manage team performance, and uphold health & safety policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and drive innovation in decarbonisation efforts.
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.
