You’ll be responsible for managing stock, supporting customers, and keeping the yard safe, clean, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, highly organised, and confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Oversee goods in/out, loading, unloading, and stock handling * Lead and manage a team of yard staff, ensuring high standards of work and safety * Monitor stock levels and support inventory accuracy * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment * Deliver excellent on-site customer service * Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed * Report on yard activity and performance What They’re Looking For * Previous experience in a similar supervisory or managerial yard-based role * Strong leadership and communication skills * Good knowledge of building materials (preferred) * Awareness of health and safety practices * Counterbalance Forklift licence (required) * Comfortable with physical tasks and operating machinery * Basic computer skills for reporting and stock systems * Full UK driving licence may be required
