Customer Service Coordinator

The Role
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to pick up the phone?
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll be the primary hub of day-to-day operations.
This is a phone-led, high-volume role where no two days are the same.
You will be managing inbound queries from customers who need concrete at short notice, keeping in constant contact with a fleet of drivers, and adapting schedules on the fly when plans change.
If you enjoy a buzzing office, problem-solving on your feet, and maintaining a calm head under pressure, this role is for you.

About You
- Strong customer service experience
- Logistics, transport or dispatch experience preferred but NOT essential
- Confident handling high volumes of phone calls
- Calm, organised and able to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Knowledge of Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, or willingness to learn quickly
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Coordinator
- Act as the primary point of contact via telephone for customers and drivers.
- Schedule and coordinate customer concrete deliveries, often at short notice
- Handle driver queries, delays and operational issues
- Adjust schedules quickly when plans change; a truck breaks down, a customer changes an order, a job overruns.
- Build strong customer relationships
- Maintain accurate order and delivery records
- Liaise with the Vehicle Workshop Manager regarding maintenance and repairs
