This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join an established IT services company as their IT Service Desk Engineer. In this role you will support the smooth delivery of IT services to a wide range of business clients. You’ll help enhance the service offering, contribute to online engagement through social media, and maintain strong communication with clients and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience supporting customers in an IT capacity
- IT-related qualifications (GCSE, A-Level or equivalent), ideally supported by a degree in IT
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong interest in delivering technology solutions that meet customer needs
- Natural problem-solver with a proactive approach
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Positive attitude toward learning new skills through training and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage with all levels of the business
- Flexible approach to work, including occasional changes to hours or weekend work
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support customers’ IT environments across a range of systems and technologies
- Provide technical support for servers, desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, cloud environments, networks, websites, email and wider IT infrastructure
- Assist in the daily operation of the IT Helpdesk, handling inbound calls and new/existing customer issues
- Manage and resolve incidents efficiently, ensuring timely problem-solving
- Handle hardware and software renewals
- Carry out installations including networks, computers, screens and WAN links
- Monitor and maintain key internal and customer infrastructure
- Keep up to date with current and emerging technologies relevant to customers and internal systems
- Learn and understand new technologies to help develop products and tools for clients
- Promote the business through social media, web-based activity and customer engagement
- Undertake any additional tasks required to support business operations
- Maintain customer confidentiality at all times
