Benefits: · Companywide bonus scheme to celebrate team wins and personal achievements! · 28 days annual leave including bank holidays · Get an extra day off each year for every year served, up to 5 additional days · Team trips overseas to view and test samples with manufacturing partners · Enjoy working in an office surrounded by nature Key Responsibilities: · Support the design and development of the company's outdoor leisure product range, from concept through to production · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs for manufacturability, assembly, usability, durability, and cost · Create clear, detailed drawings, diagrams, and supporting documentation using CAD or Adobe software · Work directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners to review samples, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the finished product matches the design intent · Keep organised records of design iterations, sample feedback, and testing outcomes · Write up engineering change reports to help drive product improvements and support production updates · Follow up with product users to ensure smooth use in the field, capturing feedback for future iterations Required Skills & Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Product Design, or a related design discipline · Confident using CAD or Adobe software to develop and communicate designs · Solid grounding in product development and design for manufacture, with an interest in creating well-engineered, real-world products · Experience liaising with manufacturers throughout the product development process would be advantageous · Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance creativity, functionality, and manufacturability · Excellent communication and teamwork skills
