Class 2 HIAB Driver Position Overview: A fantastic opportunity has for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a leading builders merchant in Willesden. As the Class 2 HIAB Driver you will be involved in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of building materials to customer sites, contributing to the smooth running of construction projects. Key Responsibilities of the Class 2 HIAB Driver: * Safe and Timely Deliveries: Transport building materials to customer sites, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. * Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring all materials are secure and safely handled. * Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service to customers by delivering goods, collecting signatures, and assisting with invoicing and credit card payments. * Route Planning: Plan routes to ensure punctual deliveries and avoid delays. * Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle in top condition, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained. * Accurate Record Keeping: Ensure all delivery records and paperwork are completed correctly. Requirements: * Valid Category C License & HIAB Certification: Clean full UK driving license with the necessary HIAB certification (ALMI or equivalent). * Experience: Practical driving skills with a strong awareness of road safety. * DCPC & Digi Card: Current and valid. * Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. * Attention to Detail: Capable of completing paperwork accurately and maintaining up-to-date delivery records.
