Executive Assistant to CEO Location: Kilburn, London Salary: £50,000 Hours: Full-time | Mon–Fri typically 8:30am – 5:00pm (flexibility required) About the Role Our client is looking for a highly organised and dependable Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a family run builders merchants and provide additional support across the business and family where required. This is a hands-on, practical support role focused on day-to-day organisation, communication, and making sure everything runs smoothly. This is a role where they are looking for someone who enjoys being proactive, detail-focused and getting things done. Key Responsibilities * Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings and daily schedule * Oversee and organise the CEO’s email inbox, including drafting replies * Arrange travel, bookings and itineraries * Prepare basic meeting agendas, documents and notes to ensure meetings run smoothly * Maintain and organise Microsoft 365 / OneDrive folders and filing systems * Handle personal administration, appointments and general organisation * Support with family-related matters, including managing post and ad hoc tasks * Coordinate company hospitality, events and invitations * Provide administrative support to Directors as needed * Liaise with external contacts such as advisors and suppliers * Track tasks and ensure follow-ups are completed Requirements * Previous experience in a PA or EA role * Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent diary management/inbox skills * Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and OneDrive * Reliable, discreet and comfortable handling both personal and business matters * Proactive and able to take ownership of tasks with trust and discretion * Clear and professional communication skills What We’re Looking For This role would suit someone who: * Is naturally organised and stays on top of things without being prompted * Takes pride in being efficient, accurate and dependable * Is happy working in a varied role with both business and personal tasks * Has a practical, no-nonsense approach and enjoys getting things done * Is low ego, high reliability — someone the CEO can trust completely Benefits * 25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off * Perkbox – 24/7 discounts, wellbeing support, online GP access and more * Company pension scheme * Life assurance (up to 3 x salary, subject to service) * Staff discount on all products * Wellbeing support programmes * Long service awards * Cycle to work scheme
