Class 2 HIAB Driver Position Overview: A fantastic opportunity has for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a leading builders merchant in Willesden. This role involves ensuring the safe and timely delivery of building materials to customer sites, contributing to the smooth running of construction projects. Key Responsibilities: * Safe and Timely Deliveries: Transport building materials to customer sites, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently and on time. * Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading, ensuring all materials are secure and safely handled. * Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service to customers by delivering goods, collecting signatures, and assisting with invoicing and credit card payments. * Route Planning: Plan routes to ensure punctual deliveries and avoid delays. * Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle in top condition, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained. * Accurate Record Keeping: Ensure all delivery records and paperwork are completed correctly. Requirements: * Valid Category C License & HIAB Certification: Clean full UK driving license with the necessary HIAB certification (ALMI or equivalent). * Experience: Practical driving skills with a strong awareness of road safety. * DCPC & Digi Card: Current and valid. * Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. * Attention to Detail: Capable of completing paperwork accurately and maintaining up-to-date delivery records. * 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
